Tipsterline ("we", "the platform") is a social sports prediction application. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal information. By using Tipsterline, you accept the practices described in this policy.

Age restriction: Tipsterline is intended exclusively for people over 18 years of age. We do not intentionally collect data from minors. If we discover that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

• Name, username, email and profile photo
• Basic sign-in information from Google or Apple if you choose one of those registration methods

User-generated content

• Sports predictions (picks), posts, comments and direct messages
• Profile images and analysis you upload
• Interactions: likes, bookmarks, reports

Payment information

• Purchase history (picks acquired, group subscriptions)
• Card data is processed directly by Stripe — we never store it or have access to it
• If you are a seller (tipster), Stripe Connect stores your financial information for payouts

Device and usage information

• Device type, operating system and app version
• Technical device identifier to deliver notifications you have authorized
• IP address (used for currency detection and security)
• Technical data on the application's performance, stability and errors
• In-app activity: navigation, feed interactions, usage statistics

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide the service: Show your profile, personalized feed, performance statistics and group content
• Process payments: Handle pick purchases and group subscriptions securely via Stripe
• Notifications: Send you alerts about new followers, picks, results, messages and activity in your groups
• Statistics: Calculate win rate, ROI, profit and other tipster performance metrics
• Security: Prevent fraud, detect abuse, protect accounts
• Improve the service: Diagnose technical errors, analyze app performance and optimize the experience
• Currency detection: Use your IP to show prices in your local currency (USD, MXN, EUR)

3. Sharing Information

We only share data with:

• Stripe: To process payments
• Service providers: Only when necessary to operate essential functions, subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations
• Authorities: If required by law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

• Active account: We keep your data while your account is active
• Account deletion: Deletion initiated from the app erases identity, credentials and user-generated content. We do not use a mere deactivation as a substitute
• Statistical integrity: We may retain only a pseudonymous, non-public aggregate, with no recoverable content or profile, for anti-fraud auditing and historical consistency
• Payment data: We keep the minimum legally required accounting ledger without linking it to the deleted account; Stripe additionally applies its own legal and tax obligations
• Technical logs: Kept for a limited period for security and diagnostics, with restricted access and scheduled deletion

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal information
• Rectification: Correct incorrect data from your profile or by contacting us
• Deletion: Delete your account and associated data from the app settings or through our account deletion web resource
• Portability: Request the export of your data in a readable format
• Objection: Object to the processing of your data for specific purposes
• Notifications: Disable push notifications at any time from settings

6. Security

We use TLS, secure authentication and protected storage. Stripe handles all payment data with PCI-DSS certification.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Tipsterline after the changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
