ROI and yield calculator for sports pick records

Calculate yield and bankroll ROI from net profit and units. Understand the difference between reference bases with a free calculator and worked examples.

Use a negative value for a loss. Returns minus stakes, not gross returns.
Use the same set of settled picks as for net profit.
Reference for conventional bankroll ROI. Tipsterline profile ROI uses recorded stake, like yield.

Local calculation. Your figures are not submitted or stored. Use a dot or comma for decimals, without thousands separators.

Yield / Tipsterline profile ROI
8%
Net profit
12 u

Same profit, two reference bases

Yield divides net profit by total recorded stake. Conventional bankroll ROI divides net profit by the starting bankroll. In Tipsterline profiles, ROI and yield both use the stake of won and lost picks; use the yield result here when comparing the app's figures.

Yield = net profit / recorded stake × 100
ROI (bankroll) = net profit / starting bankroll × 100

Worked example: 12u net profit, 150u recorded stake, 100u starting bankroll

Before comparing records

Keep the same units, period and set of settled picks in the numerator and denominator. Net profit is total returns minus stakes: a winning 2u pick at 1.80 returns 3.60u, but its profit is 1.60u. Tipsterline excludes pending and void picks from these performance metrics. Content fees and personal betting costs are not included in this calculator.
